All At Once is a work of live music and dance that builds toward an increasingly kinetic, kaleidoscopic terrain. In collaboration with Chicago percussionist/composer Timothy Daisy, All At Once is undergirded by an attempt to apply principles of Cubism to movement—an unfolding of the three-dimensional body, chasing a kind of simultaneity. The impossibility of that endeavor becomes the choreographic challenge and driver of movement invention.

Our Summer Soirée was a night to remember. Thanks to all who joined us for this garden party-and-performance! We loved sharing an early snippet of “All at Once”, our new collaboration with percussionist Tim Daisy, and especially with the backdrop of this gorgeous Evanston home and garden. We’re grateful to TS board member and host, Jules Hopkins, for making this magic possible, and to TS board member, Pedro Guerrero, for playing great tunes through the evening. “All at Once” is a Cubist-inspired full-length work for dance & percussion and will premiere at Studio5 in Evanston on October 16-18. Save the date!
