What a way to celebrate 10 years of Black Rock Porchfest.

We’re still taking in Saturday and incredibly grateful to everyone who made it possible: our artists, hosts, neighbors, volunteers, vendors, team, board, AMP’T students and staff, and the original crew who started this whole thing. This video is a compilation of audio that Alex from Park City Studios captured on a telephone set up at Harborview Market where attendees could leave a message to Porchfest 😃

Special thanks to Fairfield County’s Community Foundation and The NEAG Foundation for their transformative support; our Legend Sponsor, Two Roads Brewing Company; and Rockstar Sponsors Affinity Dispensary, Elicit Brewing Company, KO & Co. — Katie O’Grady & Team, D1 Training Fairfield, CT Custom Carts, and Ganim Legal as well as our many Debut Sponsors!

And now we get to think about what comes next.

We hope you’ll invest in that with us. We’ll share a survey soon and host a Community Conversation to hear what you loved, what we can do better, and your ideas for the future.

We also hope you’ll consider making a donation. Your support helps us keep Porchfest free, make each year the best one yet, and grow AMP’T so more Bridgeport young people have access to training, paid experience and careers in music and creative technology.

Thank you for an incredible 10th anniversary.

See you on Saturday, August 28th, 2027!! ❤️🎶 Click here to donate to Park City Presents: https://donorbox.org/porchfest-2026-sponsorship-and-support-2

Park City Presents is proud to announce KOTA full band show at Park City Music Hall on Saturday October 10! There is a limited supply of early bird tickets available so snag them while they last! Tickets at link in bio. This is an excellent opportunity to support our mission to bring incredible artists to Bridgeport while providing on the job training to our AMPT apprentices! About KOTA:

Avery Marcel Joshua Jones (born October 16, 1992), known by his stage name KOTA The Friend is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He got his stage name from the Disney movie Brother Bear and is actually a Native American word “Koda” meaning friend.

Kota most recently released his No Rap on Sunday album, which include singles featuring Big Sean and Fivio Foreign. Besides his No Rap on Sunday release, Kota has released a number of albums and EPs. In 2024 he released Once in a Blue Moon, an album collaboration with Statik Selektah, and in the same year he released Lyrics to Go 5, the 5h installment of his popular Lyrics to Go series.

Kota has remained 100% independent throughout his career—turning down 3 major record labels; instead, creating his own label and apparel brand, FLTBYS (Flight Boys). He frequently cites a do-it-yourself mentality, such as filming his own music videos, recording within a home setup, and producing most of his discography. His mentality was fueled by a desire for freedom and to avoid the sense of musical confinement.

Support is from the incredible Lando aka Lando Lakes!

Our kids are growing up in a world very different from the one we knew. They are constantly connected. Constantly visible. Constantly observed. So what does that mean for their confidence, identity, and development? And what can parents do to support “digitally healthy” kids?
Join us at Park City Music Hall for an honest, practical conversation about parenting in the age of smartphones and social media.

We’ll explore:
• What has fundamentally changed about childhood
• How digital life shapes confidence and anxiety
• What boundaries actually work
• How to start the conversation before a phone ever shows up
• Concrete tools parents can use right away
Featuring:
• Sarah Trombley, former Snapchat executive and digital parenting expert
• Gina Ludlow, school psychologist with 25+ years supporting student development
• Sharon Lauer, Head of School at Unquowa

Doors open at 6 pm. Conversation runs 7–8:30 pm, followed by informal mingling.
Come curious. Leave informed. Leave empowered.
