Northern Plains Dance’s dress code helps instructors clearly see posture, alignment and muscle engagement so they can provide accurate corrections and support safe, effective training.

Because requirements vary by class and dance style, please review the full dress code before your dancer’s first class—including the correct attire, shoes and hairstyle.

Northern Plains Dance’s Homeschool Dance Program combines fine arts, physical activity and social connection in fun, engaging ballet classes created specifically for homeschool students ages 5–12.

✨ Thursdays from 1:30–2:15 PM
✨ Program A: Ages 5–8
✨ Program B: Ages 9–12
✨ Explore dance vocabulary, history and creative expression
✨ Build coordination, confidence, rhythm and strength
✨ Opportunities to participate in Student Showcase and NPD productions—including *The Nutcracker!*

Classes are scheduled during the day to fit homeschool routines and are perfect for individual families, co-ops and groups. Want to try it first? Trial classes are available!

Dance is for everybody. 💜

Northern Plains Dance’s Adaptive Dance program provides children of all abilities with a safe, supportive and joyful place to experience movement and express themselves creatively.

With a specially designed adaptive curriculum, dancers can:

✨ Increase body awareness
✨ Develop fundamental motor skills
✨ Build self-esteem, concentration and focus
✨ Explore different dance styles through movement and games
✨ Learn in an environment designed to support individual sensory needs

Classes feature lower-volume music and sensory-friendly resources, including tumbling mats, weighted blankets, tents, fidget toys and exercise balls. A parent or support person joins each student, and dancers are always welcome to take breaks when needed.
