It’s Our Anniversary!
On 04/20/98 we opened our doors to the public, and we have had the enormous pleasure of serving the Bismarck Community for 28 years today! Some of you weren’t even born yet! Thank you all so much for blessing us with your Music and Friendship for all of these years!

Aaron Butcher…in case you haven’t met me…it is my Honor to be Nightlife’s semi-official documentarian.
I was proudly in the band Nightlife, and have served in the Nightlife Music Army (I’m copywriting that name) for many years, since the Mandan days, and will remain in some capacity, as long as Rick Berge, our Founder and Mighty Leader, AKA Papa Bear, AKA Daddy Rick/Grandpa Rick generationally dependent (AKA HCIC or Head Cowboy In Charge, in this photo!) will tolerate my eccentric ways.
He is among the finest people I’ve ever met, and literally everyone I know agrees with me.
But it isn’t about me.
Stay tuned as “we” attempt to tell you just a few stories from the History of Nightlife, and some of its many fine people.
It really is a Family.
That’s Brother Todd, with an accordion, by the way. He’s the Father of the current reigning “Nightlife Baby”, who almost isn’t a baby anymore…
He’s also the Store Manager, and so much more…amazing musician, of course…
