Handcrafted stained glass rooted in family tradition, artistry, and purpose. We believe in the power of collaboration.

Custom pieces, digital patterns, meaningful gifts, and charity-oriented projects and donations. Peery Glass Creations is a family-founded stained glass studio rooted in tradition, artistry, and purpose. Every piece is handcrafted using the Tiffany Copper Foil method, inspired by generations of creativity and a love for bringing light into people’s lives. We offer a range of stained glass work including custom-designed panels, digital patterns for fellow makers, and meaningful handcrafted gifts for special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, memorials, and celebrations. Our work is also community-minded, with charity-oriented projects, donations, and silent-auction pieces created to support causes that reflect generosity and compassion. Peery Glass Creations collaborates with artists through our Patterns for Purpose initiative, a program that features artist-created digital patterns, shares their work with new audiences, and helps support charitable efforts through purpose-driven creativity. If you're an artist who would like to collaborate through our Patterns for Purpose initiative, our Artist Guide and FAQ offer a full overview of how to get involved. Through these efforts, we aim to bring people together—because at the heart of our vision is more than creating art; it’s about inspiring creativity, compassion, and generosity in the communities we serve.

The Patchwork Pumpkins have all found their homes! 🎃

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased a preorder and supported this special project. Because of you, $250 will be donated to the NOW Program!

I had so much fun making each pumpkin unique. I can’t believe how different they all turned out, and I honestly can’t decide which one is my favorite!

Some pieces of glass carry a little more history than others.

This rich burnt-orange glass came from my grandparents’ stained glass shop, The Craft Barn in Greenwood, Indiana, which they operated in the 1970s. The original Bienenfeld Glass Corp. label is even still attached!

I did a little research and discovered Bienenfeld was a large glass distributor in the 1970s and 1980s that is no longer in operation. It’s pretty incredible knowing this glass has been in our family for decades.

Now I’m using that same glass in a Patchwork Pumpkin while my daughter joins me in the studio learning the craft.

🎃 A few Patchwork Pumpkins are still available for pre-order!

🎃 The Patchwork Pumpkin is finished!

After sharing the glass selection, cutting, grinding, copper foil and patina, I’m so excited to finally share the finished piece!

I love how this pumpkin came together! 🧡 My favorite part is the warm orange glass. When the light hits it, it almost looks like there’s a candle glowing inside the pumpkin—but it’s really just the color and texture of the glass creating that warm ambiance.

This pumpkin will be heading to the NOW Program in Robinson, Illinois, where it will be given away as a prize to one of the participants in 5K Your Way on October 3rd! 🏃‍♀️

🎃 This pumpkin isn’t done giving back! 🧡
Follow along for details on a limited release coming soon, where a portion of every purchase will be donated back to the NOW Program. Tag a friend who needs this pumpkin in their fall décor! 🎃

🎃 The Patchwork Pumpkin is coming together!

If you caught my last post, you know this pumpkin is being created for the NOW Program in Robinson, Illinois and will be given away as a prize to one of the participants in their 5K Your Way on October 3rd! 🧡

Once all the glass has been cut and ground, each piece is carefully wrapped in copper foil and soldered together. This is known as the Tiffany method, the technique I use to create my stained glass pieces.

Then comes my favorite part—patina! 🖤 Watching those bright silver solder lines turn black completely transforms the piece. The darker lines create contrast and allow the glass to become the focal point, making the colors and textures really pop!

🎃 Something special is taking shape in the studio!

I’m working on this Patchwork Pumpkin for the NOW Program in Robinson, Illinois, and the finished piece will be given away as a prize to one of the participants in their 5K Your Way event! 🧡

Every stained glass piece starts with one of my favorite decisions: choosing the glass. For this pumpkin, I chose a mix of warm oranges, golden yellows, and earthy greens to give each section its own character while still bringing the entire design together.

Once the glass is selected, it’s time to cut each individual piece by hand and then head to the grinder. Grinding helps smooth the edges and get all those little pieces fitting together just right!

The Patchwork Pumpkin pattern was designed by Glassworks. Thank you for creating such a beautiful pattern to work with! ✨
