The natural phenomena of the earth, which are normal and usually unnoticed, are the intriguing, tiny objects found when gazing down. My fascination with the ground and the things we stomp over in our everyday lives has extended into my work. I create a new realm for these objects in order to transform society's generalization of them into precious and obvious matter. Lake Superior and its shores h

ave become my inspiration and working environment in which I realize my surroundings and incorporate them into my work. To me the geological formation and deformation of the land can be the smallest stone I discover among a million grains of sand or the push of the water along the shoreline. I combine elements and ideas of nature to create wearable objects.

Honored to have my jewelry displayed at The Grand Hand Gallery for nearly 10 years! They have recently moved and are having a reopening celebration this Friday!
I have donated this “Ice Out Shard” Bangle [sterling and brass] for their fundraiser - where 100% of the proceeds will go to Neighbor to Neighbor and other grass-roots organizations supporting families impacted by ICE.

The era of “open-ish” is coming to an end on Friday, February 27th, as we officially open the doors to or new location. We’d love for you to join us to celebrate at our Grand (Re)Opening event. We have a special evening planned:

Live music from talented ceramicist and pianist Chuck Solberg.

Refreshments provided by La Cucaracha.

A free drawing for gift certificates for the Grand Hand.

A special mutual aid sale of work donated by Grand Hand artists; 100% of the proceeds will go to Neighbor to Neighbor and other grass-roots organizations supporting families impacted by ICE.

Join us as we bring together the art, the artists and the community.

Our new location is at 1338 Grand Avenue (Grand & Hamline), just 1.5 miles west of our former space. Park in our customer lot kitty-corner from the gallery.

My Etsy shop is closed in solidarity with the Nationwide Strike on 1/30. ICE out of Minnesota (my home state - where my family, friends and heart love and live), ICE out everywhere! They are harming and endangering our beloved, diverse communities.
