Bayfield Apple Festival The 64th annual Bayfield Apple Festival is October 2-4, 2026.

A celebration of the autumn harvest and Bayfield’s agricultural heritage, tour the orchards and wineries, peruse over 150 art, craft and retail booths, eat apple delicacies at more than 60 food booths and watch the grand parade march down historic Rittenhouse Avenue to Lake Superior. Live music by the Blue Canvas Orchestra of Big Top Chautauqua and a carnival round out the offerings. Special event

s include an apple peeling contest, the introduction of the Apple Dumpling Gang and the crowning of the Apple Festival Queen at the historic Bayfield Lakeside Pavilion. The festival culminates with the Grand Parade, featuring a mass band with 400 participants playing On Wisconsin, marching down Rittenhouse Avenue, to Lake Superior.

Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond for Bayfield? We invite you to nominate them for this year’s Apple Festival Grand Marshal!

Each year, the Apple Festival Committee selects an Apple Festival Grand Marshal — someone who has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Bayfield community.

Submit your nomination and help us celebrate someone who makes Bayfield such a special place.

🍎 Nominations are open for the Apple Festival Queen or King! 🍎

We’re looking for a deserving young person to represent Bayfield’s orchard community during Apple Festival weekend.

Nominees should be high school students or recent graduates with a connection to an existing or former Bayfield orchard. This could be through a family member, past or current work at an orchard, or another meaningful orchard connection.
