In the post project phase I always make stems (here for the just finished EP), maybe for an Atmos mix or just a plain stereo remix down the line. With an analog mixbus this is quite time consuming (realtime) so it's awesome that it can be automated/scheduled in Reaper! I set up the needed tracks in 15 minutes and then it can run by itself for a couple of hours while I step outside, practice the guitar (or do bookkeeping) and it's all done!

When you get lucky and find an old man on the Swedish prairie selling his old Traynor TS-15 for $15 US you'd better grab the opportunity. Just plug a guitar into it's swampy, trashy tone and there's so much fun to be had! Hope you've had a great weekend! ❤️🎛

Been doing quite a bit of remote mastering lately, which I never set out to do, apart from often being asked to apply mastering to my mixes. But through the very kind words I've been receiving lately I feel more confident in my abilities and my listening environment. Thanks a lot for hiring me, it means the world to me to see so much great music of all sorts coming through the studio and my ears. 🙏 And for those who are curious there are playlists of my Soft mixes, Hard mixes and now also Mastering in the bio (Linktree).

The best explanation I've heard of my own conviction that we give as much as we take also in creative business terms. It's how I view the core of DIY, it should probably read DIT instead, "Do It Together". So it's not only a Chicago attitude, it's also a Gothenburg attitude. 🔥
