Although there are only 3 weeks until our next event, I spent my morning in the Clinical Skills Centre doing my Heartstart Discovery training.

Now just waiting for the Scottish Ambulance Service to verify my identity so that I can become a Goodsam CPR Trusted Responder.

* Yes I am proudly wearing my Metallica Blood Drive t-shirt. I'm B+ and only 8% of the population have the same blood type.

St John's Kirk is just a few minutes walk away from our event venue. The bell ringers were practicing at 1pm today, and I was lucky enough to catch a little on camera to share with you all.

Our own custom wool - recently renamed 'The Scottish Wool Company' - will also be available at The Scottish Yarn Festival: The Director's Cut.

Slow grown from Scottish provenance Shetland and Cheviot fleece before being worsted spun in Yorkshire, our wool yields outstanding stitch definition for cables, colour-work, and lace. An abundance of samples from designers we’ve collaborated with and more can be found in our space within this celebration.
