We’re delighted to welcome backScarecrowWoodcrafts to Solas this year ✨

Rick is a woodcraft tutor and wellbeing practitioner who has been teaching carving and community workshops across Scotland since 2022, bringing together creativity, mindfulness, storytelling and traditional craft skills 🪵

Rick will join us on the Sunday of Solas and will lead a welcoming woodcarving workshop exploring the calming and therapeutic nature of working with your hands. The session is open to all levels and offers a chance to slow down, learn new skills and create in community 💚

Say hi to one our most unique artists ✨

Playing harmonium and guitar, they blend traditional instrumentation with contemporary melodies and spoken word vocals. Their mix of ethereal sounds and idiosyncratic, direct lyrics makes for performances that are emotive and engaging 🙌

We’re ecstatic to have Nourished by Nature back at this year’s Solas ✨

Janice will be bringing her brilliant workshop, Microbiome and Fermenting, back to the festival after such a fantastic response last year 🙌
