🧡 A LITTLE APPRECIATION POST FOR MY INCREDIBLE TEAM 🧡
The past few days have been anything but easy at Conifox.
With Storm Austen followed by Storm Boelo forcing us to postpone our Halloween events, my team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our customers can still enjoy the experiences they’ve been looking forward to.
From rearranging event dates and transferring 8,000+ tickets, to responding to thousands of enquiries and issuing refunds. The work involved is something most people outside the events industry never see. It’s time pressured, stressful and financially damaging, and all because of something we can’t control - the Great British weather! The last thing we want to do is cancel or postpone an event, but safety must always come first.
Through it all, my team has kept going through the long hours and difficult conversations, all while keeping smiling. ❤️
To our maintenance team, who worked into the early hours securing the site on Friday and continued checking everything throughout the weekend.
To our marketing team, who coordinated clear, timely communications across social media and email, keeping customers informed. We also apologise again to those whose email updates unfortunately ended up in their junk folders, and for any confusion this may have caused.
And to everyone who worked hard to reschedule bookings and arrange new dates for our Halloween Pumpkin Festival and Terror! 🎃✨
We’ve even managed to add TWO EXTRA NIGHTS of TERROR on 29th October and 1st November, giving more people the chance to experience the scares! 😈🩸
These events take months of planning and preparation, so postponing them at the last minute is heartbreaking for everyone involved.
I’m incredibly proud of my management team for working so hard to find solutions, support our customers and ensure our Halloween events can still go ahead.
To my amazing team, thank you. Your dedication, patience and determination haven’t gone unnoticed. I couldn’t do any of this without you. 🦊🧡
And to our wonderful customers, thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding as we’ve navigated thousands of enquiries and unexpected changes.
We’re not finished with Halloween yet, and thanks to my incredible team, there’s still plenty of Halloween magic to come! 🎃🔥
