A warm welcome to Eva Præstiin, our new Director, joining Dansehallerne on 1 November!
🟡 With more than 25 years in the performing arts, most recently as Director of Betty Nansen Teatret in Copenhagen, Eva brings a deep understanding of artistic practice and the conditions it depends on. Listening closely to the dance field will be central to her approach, with a focus on transparent processes, sustainable working conditions and space for artistic ambition.

🟡 We are equally delighted to welcome Marie Nipper as Chair of the Board. A leading voice in contemporary art, Marie is Director of Creator Projects and has previously led ARKEN and Copenhagen Contemporary and served as Artistic Director at Tate Liverpool.
She brings an extensive international perspective and a strong commitment to the arts.
Erik Pold also joins the Board. He is Director of Udviklingsplatformen for Scenekunst, Denmark’s development platform for the performing arts.
🟡 An exciting new chapter begins - with strong ambitions for Dansehallerne and the dance and choreography community.
