Members of Lahing Kayumanggi Dance Company (LK) supported the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines during last week's World Travel Market - WTM London at ExCel London for the annual gathering of the tourism industry representatives from around the world, together with members of the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group.

LK, celebrating its 32nd anniversary this year, is led by Ronnie del Barrio, Creative Director of LK and the Philippine Baranggay Folk Dance Troupe (PB) Manila. and is the European affiliate of PB.

It’s going to be a spectacular celebration of Southeast Asian culture, food, music, and community that you won’t want to miss!

Watch us on stage this afternoon at 15:30hrs in Piazza San Marco, Venezia 🇮🇹

The Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines and the Department of Tourism, together with the Filipino Community of Veneto Region, invite our kababayan to join us in Venice on Saturday, 1 March 2025, when the Philippines participates for the first time in the history of the Carnevale di Venezia.

The Philippines will be represented by the London-based Lahing Kayumanggi and dance troupes from the Filipino Community of Venice and the Filipino Community of Vicenza which will be performing traditional Filipino folk dances at the Piazza San Marco at 3 p.m.

Kababayan are encouraged to join us in this display of Filipino pride in one of the world’s most popular carnivals.
