A new take and a tip of the hat to the much beloved and long running Stanley Sports Day with a modern spin. Heaps of fun for the kids to the grown ups and everyone in between! It’s a bit old, and a bit new!

Spring Ditch became our most special and treasured community event, and we are incredibly proud to announce that it has been selected as a finalist in the 2026 Tidy Towns & Cities Sustainability Awards in the Acciona – Community category.
This recognition was made possible with the encouragement of our Tidy Towns champion, Iris Mannik OAM and the extraordinary support and contributions of our community. This nomination belongs to all of you.
Final judging begins next month, with the awards presentation to be held in Melbourne on 30 September. We'll keep you updated, but regardless of the result, being named a finalist is a wonderful acknowledgement of what we have all achieved together over the years.

Hello all!

Change is around the corner for us, and while we're incredibly excited for our next adventure, it also means it's time for us to say goodbye to Spring Ditch and to more than 12 wonderful years of bringing original Australian live music to Beechworth and Stanley.

From our very first and very wet (those of you who were there definitely earned your badge of honour!) Beechworth Music Festival in 2014, to our little not-for-profit BMF Rock School, the Iso Breaker Series that kept the music alive during the COVID-19 pandemic, and of course the fabulous Spring Ditch Festival, it's been an unforgettable journey.

Together, we've proudly presented more than 140 bands, solo artists, and an incredible collection of other performers, creating memories with our amazing audiences, volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and friends every step of the way.

We're so grateful for every artist who shared their talent, every volunteer who gave their time, every supporter who believed in what we were doing, and every one of you who turned up year after year to make these events so full of life, laughter, and community.

While it's the end of this chapter, we'll always treasure the friendships, the music, and the memories we've made together. Thank you for being part of the ride, it has meant more to us than words can say.

The Spring Ditch International Food Court lived up to its name this year with a great variety on offer for hungry festival goers! Thanks go to our fabulous vendors - Wingin' It, Red Gum Pizza, Last St Slushies, Beechworth Mobile Kebabs, Chopsticks and Bites, Hapag de Keluka, Cloud 9 Coffee, Indigo Wines, Bos Family Fairy Floss, Happy Cats Donuts and of course the Madman's Gully Bar who had something for everyone at Spring Ditch!

The moment you walk in the gate at Spring Ditch local community groups are on show! From Jamswells jamming at the gate, a hit of tennis with 'Cheese' to the Kids Zone with Cats Pyjamas, Stanley Playgroup and Laura's Forever Young Collective, through to the Beechworth Primary School, Beechworth SES, Australian Red Cross, Indigo Shire's Emergency trailer right through to watching some amazing artists at work on the day (more to come on that) and a whole lot more. The vitality, generosity and connection that groups like these contribute to Spring Ditch are the glue and we're truly grateful! Thank you for everything!
