We’re thrilled to announce our investment of $56,510 back into our local community, supporting 18 local projects and organisations through the Community Bank Beechworth & District 2026 Community Funding Program. From environmental sustainability and education, to sport, health and wellbeing, community connection, infrastructure and resilience, this year’s recipients represent the incredible diversity and strength of our local community...
✨Indigo Regen Inc. – investing in the Beechworth Recycle Hub, developing a local recycling collection hub and community education around the circular economy.
✨Chiltern Landcare Group Inc. – presenting the ‘Future Council’ Community Film Screening (directed by Damon Gameau), bringing the community together to explore environmental issues and inspire positive action.
✨Beechworth Wildlife Shelter – supporting day-to-day animal rescue and rehabilitation.
✨Beechworth Secondary College – establishing accessible raised garden beds for their Paddock to Plate program, supporting practical learning in agriculture, horticulture and food production.
✨Beechworth Secondary College – supporting student learning, preparation and participation in the annual Energy Breakthrough challenge, a 24-hour endurance event, where students design, build and race a Human Powered Vehicle (HPV), developing practical skills in engineering, teamwork and endurance.
✨Yackandandah Riding Club – Sponsorship for the club's Three Phase Equitation Competition 2027.
✨Beechworth Pickleball Club – supporting skills and confidence building through free coaching and skills development sessions for players of all ages.
✨Beats and Bounce – sponsorship for their 3x3 basketball tournament, providing an inclusive sporting opportunity for local children aged 8–12.
✨Beechworth Football Netball Club – Club sponsorship.
✨Beechworth Wanderers Cricket Club – Club sponsorship.
✨Beechworth Golf Club – Club sponsorship.

✨Beechworth Arthritis Group – hydrotherapy sessions supporting mobility, pain management, health and social connection.
✨Beechworth Community Meals Club – supporting special occasion social gatherings for older members of the Beechworth community, centred around shared meals and connection.
✨Stanley Recreation Reserve –providing smart TV technology to improve access to emergency information, warnings and broadcasts at the Stanley Safer Place.
✨Beechworth Kindergarten – supporting the purchase of a commercial-grade cantilever shade umbrella to improve the kindergarten’s outdoor play space.
✨Stanley Cemetery Trust – a computer and printer to support the management of cemetery records, administration and statutory requirements.
✨Golden Horseshoes Festival – major sponsorship to help bring the Beechworth community together, celebrating local identity, supporting participation and creating connection.
