Dipping my little toe out of Mat Leave to join our fabulous friends again at the Stanley Oval… It’ll be a Poppy-Jo & Papa day so Mama Bear is back in action! 😍

Dearest friends & followers! I’ve been very quiet on socials of late and all for good reason! Little Ladybug is almost ready to greet us Earth-side! 🥰 Sooooo I have been enjoying some much needed R&R on official Maternity Leave! I feel she’s going to go all out T-Rex ‘Cosmic Dancer’ and dance herself out of the womb any day now! ☺️

Feeling so very blessed and grateful to welcome our baby girl home to such a spectacular place, stunning Stanley and beautiful Beechworth - You are dreamy! ✨

We wanted to document such a special season in our lives and what better time against the amazing autumnal backdrop this region gifts us each year! 🍁🍄🍂🪵🌲
We commissioned our lovely friend Lucy embark photography for a pregnancy photo shoot - Lucy totally understood our vibe and expectations and we are thrilled with the results. Magical memories forever ✨

For now, whilst I embark on this Motherhood adventure, my lovely side hustles will be taking a baby break, along with Foraging Folk Nature Play Group . But never fear! Nanny Laura will always be here! And I shall look to re-connect further down the line for all things creative! Community events, private parties, festivals, music & gigs will be sporadically back up and running for Spring / Summer! So don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! 🙏

For now, I bow out to life as we know it, and shall see you on the other siiiiiiide for this rollercoaster riiiiiiiiide!

Another glorious morning spent in the quaint Quercus Beechworth gardens! This week we did some calming interactive nature crafts. We foraged in the garden for the prettiest flowers and leaves and made a nature collage! Oh, and Little Miss Acorn came out to play too! 🥰☀️🍁🌿🌷🌺🌻🍄🌸🍀💐🌞

1. Foraging Folk’ - Bring your little ones along and join me in the quaint gardens at Quercus! I will be hosting hands on nature play for your little ones, surrounded by bugs and butterflies! The session will include activities such as - flower & herb foraging, tending to seedlings, gardening skills, bug hunting (none harmed!), collecting rocks, leaf collaging, flower bouquets, nature play / farm toys, nature themed Storytime PLUS hot cuppa & social natter for the grown ups! I’ll be there come rain or shine under shelter & shade! So rug up with your gum boots or slip slap slop and join in some wholesome ‘tree bathing’ fun!🧚🏻

2. ‘Create & Decorate’ - Lets get arty with Nanny Laura! Coinciding with our weekly theme, children can attend to find a collection of arts and crafts which will be used to create something wonderful! Kids have free range and are encouraged to follow their artistic flair to bring their designs to life as they so wish! Crafts include - Pom Pom Monsters, Vintage Fabric Collaging, Pine Cone Dragon Eggs, Fairy Garden Teacups, Nature Dream Catchers, Elf & Fairy Wands, Origami Fishes, Paper Plate animals, to name a few! And of course, the little ones can take their majestic masterpiece home! ✂️

3. ‘Sensory Showtime’ - Tapping into Nanny Laura’s performing muso side hustle, join this joyous event showcasing the positive wonders of live music and singing! Come bop along to your favourite rhymes and learn some more quirky kids songs from Nanny Laura’s repertoire! Nostalgic music appreciation at its best! An interactive singing performing show with stage set up including microphone / lights / visuals, plus sensory toys, scarfs and wooden instruments for kids to enjoy! 🎤

Second session down for our newly created ‘Foraging Folk’ Nature Play Group - my lovely new collaboration with Quercus Beechworth 🌻

I am facilitating weekly hands on nature play for your little ones, surrounded by bugs and butterflies! The sessions include activities such as - flower & herb foraging, tending to seedlings, gardening skills, bug hunting (none harmed!), collecting rocks, leaf collaging, flower bouquets, nature play / farm toys, nature themed Storytime PLUS hot cuppa & social natter for the grown ups!

Two extra kiddos booked in for this week so we had a lovely group of kiddlets! Bloomin’ lovely! 🥰
We had four garden ‘stations’ set up - The Welcome Table, Flowerbeds, Storytime Picnic Rug, and Kiddos Kitchen!!!

Next week = FLOWER BOUQUETS! 💐

Well that was jolly fabulous wholesome fun!🌻

Just finished up with our first ever ‘Foraging Folk’ Nature Play Group, my lovely new collaboration with ✨

A lovely little turn out for our first session, glorious sunny morning foraging amongst the flowers and herbs… we watered the plants, got muddy, picked pretty flowers, read some lovely books about bugs and let the kiddos potter and play! 🐞

Such a charming way to start the day, I feel this may soon become the highlight of my week! 🥰

Thanks to the beautiful kiddos who attended and the families who have booked in thus far to kick this off so wonderfully! 🙏 (If you fancy joining next time, head to the Quercus website for full booking details!)

* Quaint plant pots (no plastic)

Thrilled to have been invited to return to Spring Ditch Music Festival again this year! ♥️

I’ll be doing my thang and bringing the colourful craft vibes for your kiddos once again - the festi is always a cracking family fun day event, with some awesome bands and old school field games! Come say hi to me and Bes the Vespa at my Forever Young Creative Kids corner! 🤣

Kiddos most welcome to join with a colour pop collection of arts and crafts, which will be used to create a magical masterpiece! Kids have free range and are encouraged to follow their artistic flair to bring their designs to life! Cannot wait for festival fun!
