If you’re on the NDIS, this will come to your doorstep eventually — if it hasn’t already. My plan was changed without me asking for it. I wasn’t given a chance to explain why my support mattered. It was just cut. We spent a year fighting that decision. My OT wrote a 24-page report, and other professionals backed me up — but it felt like no one actually listened. The plan they gave me didn’t even last. It ran out before it was meant to. Then came the review. Within minutes, I was being told what I couldn’t have, instead of how they could help. I was even made to feel like I shouldn’t be on the NDIS at all… like I didn’t matter. This isn’t just my story. It’s happening to so many people. The constant appeals, the red tape, the stress — it’s exhausting. The system is forgetting that we are human beings. I will keep fighting — not just for me, but for everyone going through this. And if you’re in the same position… don’t give up. Keep going. Fight for what is fair.
