Timi J is a multi-instrumentalist, genre-bending composer and Freo local since 2023, having grown up around North Perth and Scarborough who is leading the morning songwriting workshop at FAIR’s IN/ACCESS fundraiser to support Mojos to become an accessible venue.

Tim’s eclectic musical taste and influence encompasses rock, metal, hip hop, jazz, drum and bass, as well as cinematic music.

The afternoon songwriting workshop will encompass and encourage both analogue and digital approaches to songwriting and music creation in a practical sense, but will also explore the more abstract concepts and aspects of the creative process to help develop a holistic ecology of practices that works for you.

Tangents may include: mnemonic devices, intertextuality, synaesthesia, philosophy and use of character voice.

Dave is a songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer from Fremantle who will be leading the morning Songwriting Workshop at
IN/ACCESS

Dave’s earlier musical years were flippant as the wind and carefree. Guitar on shoulder, thumb out hitchin’, he traversed the country, Broome to Byron, Derby to Deniliquin. Busking , picking fruit, couch surfing and singin’round camp fires.
When

Dave settled in Freo & joined the multi award winning Celtic Powerhouse Band, The Fling, who went on to record two albums and perform at all the major folk festivals in Australia and Europe.

Since then Dave has released 3 albums, praised for their storytelling & emotion by the Music industry.

He’s also collaborated with Carus Thompson & created the Starlight Hotel Choir at St Pats homeless shelter.

Dave also teaches music at a juvenile detention centre to some of the most troubled & traumatised kids in the state.

He is a true believer in the power of music and the potential for the emotive combination of words and music to shift the status quo into a kinder, fairer society.

“Art, music and culture have always offered a poignant mirror of the times and [his 3rd album] INEQUALITY BLVD encourages us to take a long, hard look into that mirror” - RHYTHMS MAG

“ Precision story-telling within the framework of wonderfully-crafted arrangements” LTTL

Jessica Carlucci, founder of Organic Reliques — a mixed media artist, maker, and creative guide is leading the mosaics workshops at this Saturday’s
IN/ACCESS .

Her journey began as a personal quest for art as healing and expression, and over the years it has grown into a rich, evolving practice that spans ceramics, textiles, and tactile design.

From handcrafting bespoke tile installations in homes across Perth to teaching in schools, studios, and colleges, she’s had the joy of sharing her passion for creativity in many forms.

Her workshops are designed to be fun, meditative, and soul-nourishing, offering a space where others can experience the simple joy of making something beautiful by hand.

With a background that bridges design, teaching, and hands-on craftsmanship, Jessica brings a diverse and holistic approach to her work.

At the heart of it all is a deep love for guiding others and a belief in the transformative power of art.
