Clubhouse!

The clubhouse finally has a roof, a rope ladder and a swing! Elye Cabbagepatch and Larry have been hard at work and finally get to test the ladder and are double checking everything is safe before declaring it open for the other kids! As they were walking out this morning, Louie Ace asked ever so sweetly if he could maybe test the swing first and considering he is little, the boys decided that he was allowed.
So here is Larry testing the ladder, Louie Ace on the Swing and Elye listening for any creaks that may indicate that it may not be as strongly built as they would like it to be.
Luckily everything has passed their inspection.

Now the only concern is they have seen the weather warnings about strong winds later in the day and are a little worried but I’m sure it will be fine. They haven’t told Craig yet as we all know he would be outside right when the winds hit.

Rat ~ Organisation

It’s Saturday and it might be helpful to look at your life and see how you can better organise things. Not just physical things but the emotional as well. Look at how you spend your time. Look at your spiritual practices. Look at your thoughts and behaviours. Take notice of your moods and interactions with others. Are your words lining up with your actions? Are your actions helping you achieve your goals? Is your environment a peaceful and productive space?

Rat sees opportunities in the seemingly most smallest of places. If you have ever had a pet rat you know they are intelligent and creative creatures. You give them a box and they will chew little door ways so they have an entry and exit. Give them soft tissues and they take them to their “bedroom” area to line their nest. Make sure you are seeing your life for all that it is and the potential of what it could be with a little work. You can make huge differences with little work if you think creatively.

Put the time in to make your space softer and more comfortable so you can rest. Look at how you interact with others, are you communicating efficiently? Are you listening? Look at how you treat yourself, are you being your own best friend? Take the time to allow yourself to feel and process.

Rat is adaptable, he can move if his environment becomes unsuitable. If you have found things are not working, you have the capacity to change it. We grow and change the way we react and communicate all the time so don’t stay in a situation just because you have dedicated time and energy on it. Speak up and change the way you deal with things. If it doesn’t align with you anymore, be adaptable and move along. Brontosaurus from yesterday can help you move forward by taking small steps. Small but deliberate actions still add up.

TGIF!

Well that’s what I heard from Tilly Thistlewick this morning. But I think she doesn’t quite understand what TGIF means as she is explaining to everyone who will listen - and to those who aren’t that
“TGIF means Tilly Greatest most Important Friend ever”!

She decided to go outside and sit in the pond plants to tell the fish who promptly swam away cause she was too loud. She’s thinking of climbing high up into the trees and telling the birds which I think I might try to convince her NOT to do as that sounds a bit dangerous.

Anyways it’s Friday, the sun is shining and the patch is happy. Time for a coffee before Craig decides that he needs to do something 🤣🤣

Brontosaurus ~ Stamina

Auto correct wanted to write “stampede”, I feel this the message complete opposite. It’s time for slow but deliberate momentum. It might feel laborious and boring. You might want to give up. You might not see the end of the doldrums but this is when it’s most important to keep going.
Trust that every step previously taken has helped move you towards your vision. Even the seemingly small steps can add up to big ones.

Brontosaurus was a great wanderer, he undertook great journeys through barren landscapes to get to better ones. Others may not have understood his need but he went anyway. Don’t let others sway you from your path. Maybe keep your goals to yourself for a while so you don’t get discouraged.

It’s the 4th and I saw the number 4 in my minds eye-

Angel number 4 represents stability, strength and solid foundations. It encourages patience, practical effort and consistency while reminding you to stay grounded and balanced. It can also be a reassuring sign that you are supported, protected and guided as you work towards your goals.

Small steps are needed, determination and commitment to oneself is key and trust that you are heading in the right direction will eventually lead you to where you want to go.

Sports Time!

Craig decided he wanted to get in on the action and, naturally, he roped Stuart into it. He picked Stuart because he is wearing a sports outfit, which apparently makes him fully qualified. 😅

I found them both sitting outside practising their ball skills in the garden. They were technically in my kale garden, but they assured me they were being VERY careful — the most carefulest, according to Craig!

Apparently, they simply had to use Poké Balls because they couldn’t find an appropriate soccer ball and this was their solution. Honestly, points for improvisation. 😂

I’m glad Stuart has been out enjoying the sunshine and that Craig has had a break from gaming. He has a tendency to become very obsessed with things and inadvertently gets himself into trouble, so some outdoor sporting activity probably isn’t a bad idea.

The wind is picking up though, so it’s time to come inside before we recreate a Wizard of Oz moment and someone gets blown all the way to Oz…

Although, knowing Craig, he’d probably consider that an adventure rather than a problem. 😅
