Well played ladies.

as a non attendee I can only comment on what has been advised. Those who pray must hve overwhelmed to system to have to rain hold off for yesterday.
I will start at the bottom so for a big thanks you to Beau who prepared the greens - a job well done.
Dennis and Faye Potter, carol and Barry Hollands and Sue wormleaton gave up time on Sunday to get the tables all set up. A;ways the same helpers.

Thank you to the umpires Dennis Potter and Bill Toohey - I think we struck gold with these two, Always reliable and willing to help the ladies.
Carol did a huge amount of organising and she has the knack for getting it right. Her helpers with the sandwiches and Pavs and scones and cream were Pam Brown, Ethel Neal, Janet Connolly and Maureen Snell and they all worked very hard. The food went down a treat and there were no Pavs left ( i was looking forward to one of those)
The lucky numbers sold out quickly and the raffle tickets went like hot cakes. I am sure Deb will give us the breakup at our next meeting.
Lin Hulbert was the lady with the piping bag and did a great job decorating all with the cream.
As a Lake Conjola team pulled out one of our Nowra teams stood down to keep even numbers. that was very good of them. Sue Wormleaton gave Glenn a hand with the score board so I think she was happily on a learning curv e.Altogether a good day had by all. Opps forgot to thank Barry for bring Carols runner due to her sore foot, great support

Melbourne cup day saw some fashions on the field but I do not think we would be allowed in the winners circle. The ladies had some fun with a couple of funny hats and colourful clothes. The winners on the day were Jockey Bev Poulton, fanciest horse shirt Emma Watson, Colour coordination Linda Musgrove and best action in bowling Noreen McPherson

What a beautiful day for our Major/Minors tournament which was played today. Well it was a great day if you were inside all day and not fighting against the wind and cold. The ladies all struggled in the cold and the wind played havoc with the trajectory of the bowls.
But I believe that regardless of that the ladies enjoyed themselves. We received a lovely email from Sandra Crimmins thanking us for the day and apologizing for not getting to say this personally.
The Nowra ladies who provided morning tea, Linda, Ida, Deion, Carol a big thank you. The umpires for sitting out in the cold Bill and Rickie also a big thank you.
President Carol thanked all involved including the Club Ltd for their sponsorship., the bar staff, Mark and Charlotte for their impeccable service. And a very huge thanks to Deion and Glenn for all the work they put into organising the cards and draw and ensuring that the board was correct. Well done.
The Lucky winners today were Sandra Crimmins and Cherilyn Brace. The second place getters were a team from Bomaderry, Wendy Neilsen and Joyce Fuller while third place was won by Norma Mangravati and Michelle Dean. Congratulations to all players.

Ladies, I do believe I have the correct page now.

We commenced our Club Minor Pairs on Tuesday with 3 games being played.
Di Knox and Carol Cowden played against Tracy Lymbery and Coral Blazely with the results coming down to the last end. Coral and Tracy won the game 15-14.
Lita Gil and Carol Hollands palyed Pam Brown and Noreen McPherson with Carol and Lita coming up the winners 26-17.
Ida Ferchow and Linda Musgrove defeated Deb Goodsell and Lorraine Crosswell 23-5.

The Semi Finals were played today with Carol Hollands and Lita Gil having a good win over Tracy Lymbery and Coral Blazely 22-6.
A close game was played by Eda Fercow and Linda Musgrove against Jan Rouse and Rickie Gilligan. Rickie and Jan led for most of the game but when it cam to the last end Rickie and Jan let the others take 6 shots to win the game 18-16. A very good game played with a smile .
we had two social games of pairs also played with Di Knox and Lorraine Crosswell winning over Margaret Webb and Lin Hulbert 20-12.
Maureen Snell and Bev Poulton also had a win against Pam Brown and Norma Williams 24-18.

Nice to see our ladies out playing in the sunshine.

Remember ladies, no matter who you play , courtesy and good manners cost nothing.
AGM and General meeting on Tuesday so we will see you all there
