We are so proud of Hannah, who worked incredibly hard to perfect her dance combination here at Turning Point Dance, earning her an in-person audition with Opera Australia for Anastasia the Musical 💙

Although she was not selected for the role of Little Anastasia, it is a wonderful achievement to have progressed to the second round and to experience such an opportunity at just 9 years old ✨

🩰 Grade 1 – Working Towards Their BC Exam ✨

Our Grade 1 students have been working with such focus and dedication as they prepare for their Ballet Conservatoire (BC) exam 💙

At this stage, students are developing:
✨ Strength and coordination
✨ Musical awareness
✨ Clarity and precision in their work

It is lovely to see their growing understanding and commitment in class, and the way they are beginning to take pride in refining their dancing.

🩰 RAD Examinations at Turning Point Dance ✨

As part of our training, we continue to offer our students the opportunity to take part in examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

The RAD syllabus complements our work in the studio, with a strong focus on musicality, movement quality and artistry, supporting students to develop confidence and expression in their dancing.

Participating in exams provides:
✨ A clear goal and sense of purpose
✨ A rewarding and structured learning experience
✨ The opportunity to perform in a supportive environment
✨ A sense of achievement and pride in their progress

Our Friday Kinder Ballet class offers a gentle and joyful introduction to dance, where children explore movement through music, storytelling and imagination in a nurturing environment.
