The final performance.

After weeks of rehearsals, refining details, and bringing the concept to life, this was the finished product.

Candance For A Cure remains one of our favourite events each year, bringing schools and performers together from across South Australia to celebrate dance while raising funds for cancer research.

We are incredibly grateful for the creative team behind this work and for the Academy students who committed themselves fully to the process from beginning to end.

Meet the instructors leading our ACPA Academy Open Day.

Train with the Academy faculty across Commercial, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Vocal while experiencing the level of training, mentorship, and professionalism that defines ACPA Academy.

This is your opportunity to step into the studio, work with our instructors firsthand, and get a real feel for the Academy environment before 2027 auditions open this June.

Your day at ACPA Academy Open Day

Train alongside our current Academy cohort, experience classes across multiple styles, meet our instructors, and get a real insight into the full-time training environment at ACPA Academy.

From Commercial and Jazz to Musical Theatre and Vocal, the day is designed to give future performers a feel for the intensity, versatility, and professionalism of the program.

The day will finish with an information session featuring our Academy staff, current students, and Thebarton Senior College.

Explore the training pathways available through ACPA Academy and experience what full-time performing arts training can look like.

From our Performing Arts High School program in partnership with Thebarton Senior College, to our nationally recognised accredited courses in dance teaching and management,

ACPA Academy is designed for performers ready to take their training further.

Train alongside the current cohort, learn from industry professionals across Commercial, Musical Theatre, Jazz & Vocal, tour our facilities, and gain insight into the structure and opportunities behind the Academy program.

2027 Courses are here.

Whether you’re ready to step into the studio as an assistant or take the lead as a qualified dance teacher, we have a pathway for you.

CUA30320 Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching - one day a week, hands-on experience assisting in real classes, and up to 70 SACE Stage 2 credits.

CUA40120 Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management - a full structured timetable combining technique, supervised teaching practice and the skills to run your own programs.

Both courses run January to December at ACPA. Come meet the team, see the facilities and audition for our 2027 intake at our Open Day.
