So...what exactly IS an orchestra? 🎻
An orchestra can have dozens of musicians, sometimes more than 100, depending on the music being performed.

Think of it as one very talented group project. You’ve got strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion—all with their own personalities, all working toward the same goal.
And the person waving their arms in front? That’s the conductor.

Over the next few months, we’re breaking down the instruments, the musicians, and all those musical terms you may have heard but never quite understood.

Welcome to The Symphony, explained. No music degree required! 🎶
