CHUNKY HAND-KNIT BLANKET CLASS

Thursday, October 15th
4:30–6:30 PM
Madawaska Public Library

Come learn how to make your own cozy chunky hand-knit blanket — no knitting needles required!

Class taught by Catherine Mary Ford

CLASS DETAILS

• Class Fee: $10 per person
• Spaces are limited — registration is required
• Register and pay in person with Doreen at The Crafty Yarn Barn (cash payment only)
• Your spot is reserved once registration and payment are received
• Registration will close once the class is full

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Participants will need 4 skeins of #7 Jumbo Weight yarn.

You’ll be creating an approximately 30” x 40” chunky hand-knit blanket during the class.

🧶 I’m gauging interest in a Chunky Yarn Hand-Knitting Class!

I’m thinking of having a guest instructor join us during one of our Stitches & Friends gatherings to teach a chunky yarn hand-knitting project.

The class fee would be $10 per person for instruction. Yarn is not included in the class fee, and participants would be responsible for purchasing the yarn needed for the project separately. I’ll make sure everyone knows exactly what type and how much yarn they’ll need ahead of time.

Class space would be limited so that we still have plenty of room for our regular Stitches & Friends group. ❤️ Anyone who just wants to bring their own crochet, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, or other project is still absolutely welcome to come as usual at no charge.

But before I make the class official, I’d love to see how much interest there is!

I just got in Premier Colorfusion DK in two new shades — Vintage and Autumn Sky — plus I restocked Berries & Cream, Saltwater Taffy, and Morning Coffee.

And two new Premier Sweet Roll colors have arrived too: Tiramisu and Mint Chocolate Chip! 😍

So many pretty colors to choose from — and as I always say, these new colors are even more gorgeous in person! 💕

Our crafty little get-together group has a new name… Stitches With Friends ❤️🧶🪡

I wanted something that felt welcoming to everyone, because this group isn’t just for knitters and crocheters. If you cross stitch, embroider, crochet, knit, or enjoy another handcraft, come join us!

Bring your current project, pull up a chair, and enjoy some stitching, chatting, and good company.

Our first Stitches With Friends gathering is this Thursday, September 3rd from 4:30–6:30 PM at the Madawaska Public Library.
