Fun times on Sunday! Thank you to the Madawaska Fire Dept for the delicious chicken bbq. What an excellent parade- thank you all who participated! And thank you to Jerry T for helping us close out the 48th Madawaska Acadian Festival! We'd like to also announce our winners of our parade categories. Congrats to: Best Business -- Nason Ground Works, Most Original - Clean Slate Services, Most Entertaining - Pride of Madawaska Marching Band, Best Non-Profit - Madawaska Cheer Squad & Flag Girls, and Best Acadian Theme - Mini Miss Madawaska Charlie Moring (& pony!). Thank you everyone who made the 48th Acadian Festival so special. We'll see you next year!

Saturday was a big day! Acadian Mass, Treasures of the Valley, Family Fun Day, Dedication of the Acadian Star, Tintamarre Parade, Saturday night music with Boomerang & Fireworks. It was a busy but wonderful day!

Well folks, what a weekend!

Thank you goes out to you all for making this an unforgettable Acadian Festival!

The committee puts in the hours not only this weekend but throughout the year for all of you and you thanked us by showing up and letting us see your smiling faces.

We had so much fun and we hope you enjoyed yourselves also.
