Maria Gaetana Agnesi was a true badass of her day she refused the norm of just getting married and having kids. Never married, never had children. She devoted her life to her studies, wrote the first comprehensive calculus book by a woman in history, then gave her fortune away and chose to be buried among the poor.

This special lecture brings history to life through engaging portrayals of five extraordinary historical figures: Alice of Dunks Ferry, Hannah Penn, Abigail Adams, Lucretia Mott, and featuring Ida B. Wells-Barnett, whose courage, leadership, and determination helped shape our nation ♀️
