This song was a ton of fun to work on, and I’ve been wanting to mix a punk rock Christmas song for the longest time, so thank you Geoff for giving me the opportunity! And with today, the last song in the new trilogy of Kurt Baker Band singles is released! To say playing the kit on these was an honor would be an understatement. I truly am so proud to be on these recordings with these fellas. When Kurt, Wyatt, and Geoff first asked me to play on these, the answer was immediate, and ecstatic! I absolutely love all of their records and this style of playing is right in my wheelhouse, a perfect match-up, and so I let it rip. Not only are these guys absolutely incredible musicians, but they are genuinely great dudes and I’m happy to call them friends! I’m stoked we got to make kick ass music together, and here’s to many more, thanks guys!🍻🤘🏻❄️🔥.

Baker says, “This song came to me very quickly when I started to think about my old days writing songs for my first pop punk band The Leftovers. I picked up the guitar and the chords came with the lyric “delusional”. Sometimes it ain’t easy playing music and pursuing your passions - sometimes you might think “Am I totally just full of crap?”. Well, chances are you are NOT, but this song is about the feeling you sometimes get when you start to question yourself. Musically this song is influenced by bands I loved when I was a young pop punker - Descendents, Screeching Weasel, and Green Day.”

🚨🚨NEW RELEASE🚨🚨.
The Explorers Club just released their fan experience record “Wattage”, listen from front to back and “be transported back to a radio broadcast from a small town DJ, playing the hits from yesterday” I had the privilege of Mixing the Jingles and radio broadcast parts of the record, I also put together the final arrangement and mastered the record! I had a lot of fun working on this one with Jason Brewer .

I had the honor of mastering this album for them, as well as mixing the last track “Don’t Waste Her Time (Orchestral Version)” This record is full of great 60s sounding tunes and has a few covers sprinkled in! 🚨🚨NEW SONG ALERT🚨🚨.
The debut single for .jaymusic is finally out! I first saw Emma play at a writers round at Belmont late last year, and from the first time I heard her sing, I knew that I had to record music for her and help get her songs out there! Her and her equally talented friend/roommate co-wrote this song the night before our first recording session for it actually! We were set to record another song but after they wrote this they felt so strongly that should be the first single, and away we went! I had the pleasure of playing drums on it, and slapped the bass and played the keys! Go stream this song now!

Fever Dream just dropped a new single “November” (My birthday is in November so this song is now my birthday song😂) this song seriously jams though, and not only is the single version out, there’s an extended out to version out as well, harkening back to classic rock vibes with a whole extra 1:30 of face melting shredding guitar!
And secondly Tony Apolczer has a new tune “Porcelain” out as well! This song we started right before the pandemic happened and we had to put it on hold for a few months, but I’m so happy this is out now! It has such a nice dramatic build and the bridge just hits you hard! Go jam both these new tunes!🤘🏻🎙🎛🎚.
