4 months. That’s how long we had to open Antoinette’s.
Back in January, when I told people we were opening in May, I got a lot of side eyes. 👀
But Lafayette Construction Group didn’t flinch. “We’ve got you.”
And they sure did.
They took on the undertaking and somehow made that 4 month timeline (and budget) happen. Making me feel at ease as we navigated through the permitting ups and downs. I’ll forever be grateful for Connor and the team who helped turn an old house into the place I’d been dreaming about.
As Lafayette Construction was building out the functionality, I needed someone to help me make it feel like Antoinette’s.
Enter my best friend, Kathryn Crawford - founder of Second Story Designs Second Story Designs
I had a lot of ideas. Some quirky. Some very specific. Some that required a large glass of wine to fully understand. 😂
She took all of that and translated it into something beautiful and layered with personality. She understood that I wanted a place that felt collected, comfortable, and a little unexpected. Somewhere you could walk in and stay awhile.
And goodness, she delivered.
Now that we’re 4 months on the other side, it still feels a little surreal. I feel incredibly lucky. Lucky to have found people who believed in the vision, understood the assignment, and showed up. Lucky to have many more friends who also volunteered their time, talents, and energy to help bring this place to life. Thank you.
This was a place built by friends. For friends.
And now it’s yours too.
