It is with extreme sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Board Member, LaQuita James. LaQuita, you were the hardest-working, busiest person we knew, but you always found time to smile and make us laugh. What an incredible loss to our theater community. We love you and will miss you and your talent immensely. Sending all of our love to LaQuita’s family and friends.

We are making some exciting changes to Play Club! If you are interested in joining our Play Club to read and discuss plays by and/or about marginalized voices (e.g. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, etc.), send us an email ([email protected]) to be put on our Play Club list. The group will be interactive, and the plays to be read will be determined by the group using suggestions from the Club!

Calling all ACTORS & DIRECTORS for our second Plays in Progress virtual workshop!

We will be presenting Other Habits, by Judy Klass.

In a mostly non-binary future world, a binary couple argues that they are sane. The lover of one of the therapists evaluating that couple is directing a production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and writes a play about women disguised as male actors playing Viola and Olivia and interacting with Will Shakespeare, moved by their androgyny as Shakespeare was moved by the young man in the sonnets.

All characters, except for Amaranth/Saffron (She, femme-presenting) and Cerulean/Topaz (He, male-presenting), are Non-Binary. All ages, genders, races and ethnicities encouraged to participate!
