I thought some of you might enjoy this bluesy arrangement of Heart's Barracuda.
The project started several years ago when a singer/bass player who I was gigging with at the time wanted to play Barracuda in her set but couldn't ever get a drummer to learn the correct parts. So she asked me if I could create an arrangement of the song that could be played without a drummer having to learn the part. I arranged it in a bluesy style so any drummer who can play a shuffle can do that groove for the whole tune, and play it even if they don't know the tune.
The demo recording sat on my computer for a few years. Then I was doing some gigs with Sophia Grace and thought she'd have a unique vocal approach to it, so we recorded her singing it and I finally finished mixing it.
