I added a new masterpiece to my art collection today!

I thought this student brought me a piece of art to show me her work. Nope. She brought it to gift to me. 😭 It is going somewhere special in our home.

These treasures from these children are worth more than gold! I’ve been MIA with posting bc ⛳️, 🧑‍🩰, 📚, and well life, but these past 6 weeks of welcoming so many new families to Art Smart have been pure joy! I’ll share more soon from my darling artists. What a privilege this job of mine is!

Welp, my favorite season is officially over…but that doesn’t mean we can’t still talk all things camps! I’ve added a few fall and winter mini camps to keep all the art fun flowing through the seasons.
Come join all the creative fun!

So they say today was the last 90 degree day…and I’m guessing I may be the only Tennessean disappointed by this. 🤣 It’s not that I don’t love a 75 degree day…it’s just that I HATE a 32 degree day and I know it’s coming. In the meantime, enjoy these beautiful fall trees (that I think are coming in real life eventually) created by my most darling artists.
This is round one. Stand by for lots more fall trees!

Brought back one of my absolute favorite lessons and this new group of artists totally nailed it!

Prang watercolor for the color mixing…learning how to neutralize a color with is complementary color

And Sharpie for all of the details.

See, we have actually been creating art this semester. 🤣 I’m just behind on sharing it all!
