I met Bill Cody in the mid 90’s. I was fortunate enough to be invited to join the WSM Radio morning show many times over the years. We’d talk Texas and his time in San Antonio at KKYX. He remembered my dad from those early radio days and would even play one of his songs every now and then when I was a guest. He always made you feel welcomed and treated me like an old friend on and off the air. He will be missed by all that knew him and tuned in to hear him each morning. Rest in peace, Bill.
