I am Kacy Lin McBride. I AM AN ARTIST!
I am a small business owner, a floral designer, a singer-songwriter, a painter, a jewelry maker, and an all-around artistic person. I love art and all of its forms.
Most of all, it's musical form. It is where I can fully express myself. I have been singing all my life. I moved to Nashville to be the next big thing, but I found it much harder to become noticed when you don't play the guitar for yourself. Not many people are willing to share the spotlight. I thought I'd move to Nashville, find my band, and become famous overnight, ha ha!
I did, however, come to Nashville and fulfill my other lifelong dream of becoming a "Flower Lady". I remember being a young child, not even 5 years old yet, when my grandmother asked me, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I responded, "A Singer". She then said, "So realistically, when that doesn't work out, what do you want to be?" My instant response was, "Flower Lady". At that time, I didn't know the correct term was a floral designer. So here I am today. Owner and lead designer of Barefoot Flowers and Blues singer-songwriter for BMI. Living the dream every day!
