Arts at the Airport Arts at the Airport is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that receives funding for the visual art Arts at the Airport is housed within the Community Affairs, Arts and Events department of Nashville International Airport®/BNA®.

It is administered by both an art curator and an airport entertainment coordinator, and governed by a 15-member AaA Foundation Board of Directors, who are approved by the BNA Board of Commissioners. BNA is fully committed to funding and supporting the arts through the Arts at the Airport program, uniting art and business to create great places for passengers, partners and employees. The Bonnaroo Works Fund in partnership with Arts at the Airport, are seeking proposals for 4 temporary public artwork Bonnaroo-themed displays at BNA, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The display, which will be suspended from the ceiling
June 6, 2022– April 9, 2023, encompasses 4 skylights located in the airport concourses on the secure side of the terminal. Each selected artist will receive an honorarium of $4,500 and 2 General Admission Weekend Passes + 1 Car Camping Pass to the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The ideal project will be of highest artistic quality (any media) and should be inspired by the principles of the Bonnaroovian Code.

Entry Deadline: February 4, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. MT
Selection made by: February 21, 2022
Delivery and Installation Date: May 23 – June 3, 2022
Length of Exhibition: June 6, 2022 – April 9, 2023

Bonnaroo Works Fund and Arts at the Airport
Display at Nashville International Airport®

ATTENTION: Deadline is February 4, 2022.

The Bonnaroo Works Fund, in partnership with Arts at the Airport, is seeking proposals for four temporary Bonnaroo-themed artworks, composing an exhibit at Nashville International Airport®, in Nashville, Tenn.

The exhibit, which will be suspended from the ceiling from June 6, 2022– April 9, 2023, encompasses four skylights located in the airport concourses on the secure side of the terminal. Each selected artist will receive an honorarium of $4,500 and two General Admission Weekend Passes, plus one Car Camping Pass to the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

HOLIDAY FUN: The Puppet Truck is here today with two FREE performances of the Brothers Grimm's classic tale "Puss In Boots." Catch it at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the South Terminal Stage (near Green Beans Coffee and the Concourses C & D exit). We are celebrating our amazing, diverse D/deaf, hard of hearing, and Deaf-Blind communities! We loved interpreting for Alison Brazil and her band on the Arts at the Airport stage and seeing the smiling faces of fabulous community scrolling through their slideshow!

CREATIVITY ON DISPLAY: Some new works of art have been added to Southwest Airlines’ “Repurposed with Purpose” exhibit at ! 🎨 Created by Metro Nashville Public Schools students, these beautiful items were fashioned out of used leather seat coverings retired from Southwest aircraft. It’s part of a global sustainability initiative that gives old materials new life as works of art.

For the students, it’s a chance to have their work on display for thousands of travelers to see. Celebrating local art and artists is what the Arts at the Airport program is all about.
