Late pinup icon and Nashville native Bettie Page is set to receive a historical marker in downtown Nashville in late 2022 or early 2023.

Due to unexpected health issues the event’s promoter is experiencing, this year’s Nashville Boogie event has been canceled. We considered moving forward with the event as originally planned, but have decided that it would be best not to risk last minute cancellation closer to the actual date.

All 2022 tickets will be refunded 𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦.

• 2022 tickets purchased through Eastside Bowl will be refunded automatically via point of purchase (SeeTickets). Please contact [email protected] for further assistance.
• All 2020-2021 tickets will be refunded directly by the promoter, and more info on that will be forthcoming. We know you will have questions, but ask that you please allow us some time to work through this process.

It hurts me to have to do this, but I have to cancel the Boogie. I can’t tell you how stubborn I am in not wanting to stop, but my health is forcing this. I came to the ER 4 days ago, they ran tests and decided to admit me. At that time they said I have liver inflammation that could be resolved with a small surgery to remove stones. 2 days later and more tests show there are no stones. They then found much larger issue with my liver and also iron in my blood at alarming levels. But they still can’t figure out what is causing it and how to fix it. They need more tests and can’t tell me how long it will be. It’s possible it could be next week. I also have other heart, lung, and autoimmune issues separate from this, which I can handle but adding this stress is risky. It is highly likely that I could find myself in a procedure next week and I just don’t think it’s fair to all of you to wait and see.

Here’s the good news. Out of respect I have reached out to as many performers as possible and a few of them still want to do something. So does the venue and record show. Sabina Kelley is still coming to model coach as well. They’re going to put together a separate show for anyone still coming. Bopflix is still flying from the UK to film bands!

Laura Palmer of the Screamin Rebel Angels and Atomic Music Group is about to announce the replacement show with many of the same performers on the dame date.

Everyone gets a refund, but please give us time to do it. The newly purchased tickets will automatically return to you through the venue. I’ll reach out to ticket holders that transferred old tickets or were just not going to be able to make it. Those sales are too old to return automatically so we will need to contact you individually. That will be a massive task that I will start when I get out of the hospital.
