Just went to theater to see Mission Impossible…So Proud, to see Angela Bassett as Prez on screen. My friend Margaret (Muggy) Japour tutored Angela at Boca Ciega High School in English….She said “I wanna be a success, can you help teach me proper english so I might be able to get better parts in film & broadway….Angela sent flowers and a note when Muggy passed away, Muggy lost an arm saving her brother when he fell under a trolley in Jax, Fl…later suffered a stroke and was hard to understand. Her family pd me $50 to take her to visit her sister “Billie at a different assisted living facility, where I would at times play piano for her/her sister and the patients. She liked to sneak a cig, smoke one on our short trips. Her sister passed 1st, so I just visited Muggie and still played piano on occasion, think it was the Fountains assisted living facility. When Muggy passed, I was anticipating only 6- to maybe 8 attendees, so I thought about what I should say, we got to the point of conversation where I had no problem understanding her. (I thought, what a terrible position she ended up in….such a well spoken, loved english teacher at Bogie….to having a stroke…and not having her faculties she was so blessed with🙏🏻

Conclusion: I arrived at Memorial Park Cemetery, wondered who else must have died to bring cars lined up the whole lane, both sides….had to park a long ways away. And I arrived approx 15 min prior to the planned ceremony….TO MY SHOCK, Bogie Coaches, Teachers, Alumni….even some of her past students attended! The stories the love that shined from all these people who had long been out of her life…got the word/Obit…and spoke about her, a teacher who cared….the note and flowers from Angela Basset…topped it all off! I was Blessed to know Muggy, and happy to see people don’t forget…although, we all feel at times “no one really cares”, I just hope she was looking down and could see & hear all of the wonderful things so many of these people had to say about her…and her “gift of teaching & caring!” 🙏🏻💞💛☀️

It was an Inspiring 2024 Halloween Visit for my first return since Covid 19 closing of Our ZOO Studios & Event Space, Plus, The broadcasting home of www.MusicTampaBay.com, FM 96.7, Pioneered and Operated for years by Rick Crandall, wife Joy, and it’s local area sponsors! (Including home space at the Zoo Studios Facilities, dedicated and promoting Tampa Bay Area, Original Music, bands & Artists…)

UPDATE: NOW is, and has been the home of “ROOTS to CROWN” for I believe a few years already,
I Suggest you check out their f/b page and info. All I can really say, is they MADE me Happy & Inspired when I stopped in tonight, for my 1st visit! Since closing the business during the Covid Pandemic.

Tonight! Great seeing street parking spots on both sides of 1st Ave North, Filled! Congrats to their success, and I think it was Joel, who welcomed me. Everyone dancing, relaxing…conversing…the sub woofers, audio, lasers, lighting and DJ Music choices kept the crowd motivated and into the 2024 Halloween Vibe 🎉 Us Artists Group,LLC… and in a way, The Zoo Studios & Event Space property and building has evolved, tonight I really felt satisfied to see…experience, what I/we envisioned the facilities, building garage expansion, entertainment technologies, to the outside “chill spaces” and even the original bathrooms on wheels accommodations! Plus, Certainly the unique additions making “Roots to Crown a great spot to visit, plus potentially book your special, public or private event”
