The Bible says to be in a constant state of prayer. I say let’s replace the word “prayer” with “gratitude”. Man... the last few weeks have really brought me to a place of clarity about many things. One thing in particular is just how much I personally take for granted every day. I think we’re all guilty of that especially in western culture, but for me I feel like I’ve been resurrected (to use another biblical analogy). I look around and all I can see are things to be grateful for, the trick is to find some sort of method to keep that outlook consistent. And unfortunately, there isn’t one. So I also have to have grace for the times where I fail myself and others. For when I forget to be greatfull. My challenge is you is to try and go the whole day without one verbal complaint. And see how that effects your creativity as an artist, producer, etc. let’s all be great full we’re alive and have the ability to do what we love. Namaste 🙏

There is no truth to discover, only Truth to remember... what Truth have you recently discovered was being hindered by false belief, dogma, indoctrination, or just pure innocent ignorance? For me, it’s that I was born worthy. I have value because I say so, not because anyone else imbued me with it. Now it’s my job to spread that worth and value to the world. My first time trying “editorial” style photography was about 4 years ago, it was actually one of my first shoots ever. I achieved this shot (and some others I’ll feature in my stories) because of one thing: my system. I went into this shoot with confidence, NOT because I’d done it before or had years of experience, but because I had developed a system that I knew was fool proof. “Dude how did you set up your lighting?!?” Simple shots with simple lighting can often confuse those trying to learn. Most are conditioned to think that shots like this require some crazy set up or multiple lights / reflectors / flags / modifiers / etc... this is one light and a white wall. Get out there and just experiment. You may be surprised at what you can do and just how simple it really is :)
