For the last 10 years, James Carothers has been a part of the Nashville Palace family, and we couldn't be more proud to see him take part in such a historic celebration.
Congratulations to James on being selected to perform during Alan Jackson's sold-out farewell concert celebration, "Keepin' It Country on Broadway," this Saturday, June 27. As many of you know, James has spent the last five years touring as Alan's opening act and was recently welcomed to the Grand Ole Opry stage with not one, but two standing ovations.
From our stage to one of country music's biggest nights, we're honored to have watched his journey and can't wait to cheer him on as he helps celebrate the incredible legacy of Alan Jackson alongside some of country music's biggest stars.

Alan Jackson's sold‑out farewell concert on Saturday, June 27, 2026, will be livestreamed for free on Broadway in downtown Nashville as part of the massive "Keepin’ It Country on Broadway" event starting at 5 p.m. The celebration includes a full outdoor stage, a giant screen, and live performances with James Carothers performing right in the middle of it! James made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry to two standing ovations and has toured with Alan as his opening act for the last five years including Alan's “Last Call: One More for the Road" tour. It will be a star-studded event with Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, George Strait and more. We can't wait for the celebration!
