Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra is a community orchestra led by Christopher Norton, Music Director.

This ensemble offers players of differing levels and backgrounds the opportunity to make music together. The Nashville Philharmonic performs a diverse mix of repertoire - different genres and styles anchored in the classical tradition. Players in the Nashville Philharmonic collaborate with the Music Director in making repertoire decisions. The orchestra features area soloists and new music by local composers.

Just two more days until we’re back on stage at the Schermerhorn, closing out another epic series. We’re delighted to be playing in this special venue and hope you’ll join us for our last free concert of the season!

We are so excited to be back at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center to perform our final concert of the season on Sunday, May 10th at 4:00pm.

This is one of our few concerts that will rely on a ticketing system, but like ALL of our concerts, it is completely free. You will need to reserve your tickets (link in bio) and as you’ll see in the final slide, there will be a couple of boxes to either enter a price per ticket or to donate to the Symphony (not us), and you are welcome to enter $0 or any amount at your discretion.

The NPO’s mission is to provide area musicians the opportunity to perform, while bringing high-caliber orchestral music to the community free of charge. We are able to do this with the generous support from sponsors like ESa and grants from Metro Arts and the Tennessee Arts Commission with support from The Nashville Symphony.
