Happy 14th Anniversary to the current home of !!! Next year will be our 20th year in business (first 5 at a previous location, I don’t recommend moving a whole studio😜). Cannot believe it….. thank you to everyone who has called this home for your music over the years!!! So many artists, so much music. Much love from the smoakstaff and here’s to many more. Cheers ❤️🥂

HAPPY RELEASE DAY.
When I was a kid all I ever wanted was to be in a band. My road in music led me away from being the artist and into an incredible career of helping others realize their musical dream….and in that pursuit I found my true calling - being in the studio. But as a guy in his mid 40’s I’m here to tell you, never give up on your dreams. Today is release day for “Another Door” with my band and , an album we’ve spent the last two years making at . And now we’re on the road promoting and playing the songs live…. It’s truly surreal.
I firmly believe if you follow your passion with open hands then you’ll be surprised along the way. Thank you to for surprising me with the opportunity to live out a childhood dream. Thank you to my band mates for always striving to reach new heights. And thank you to The Divine for opening “Another Door”. ❤️

1940’s Slingerland Rolling Bomber kit. Made during WWII when there was a ration for metals so the lugs are made of wood and it has calfskin heads. Found each piece separately over the last two years.
