The Fiddle House

The Fiddle House Now open in the five points area of East Nashville. The Fiddle House is an acoustic string shop in East Nashville. We offer violin repair and restoration.

We also specialize in bow rehairs. We sell fiddles, bows, and other acoustic stringed instruments. We will also be hosting weekly jams and workshops.

BIG UPDATE: Forces Unite!
Hello to all our dear and loyal customers, we wanted to inform you of our latest news. As of this week, we have closed our location on Clearview Avenue in East Nashville. We are now all under one roof in our Frankin Pike location at The Violin Shop. With a newly built extension and expansion of the workshop at The Violin Shop, everything is set to be been smooth-sailing and we're all so excited for this new branch of our ever-growing tree of business and work adventures together!

Please note this change, as all repairs and sales will now need to be taken to The Violin Shop, 2504 Franklin Pike.

I had three questions after removing the top to find 3 bass bars (not even getting into the fact that the top itself is made from around 60 pieces of spruce).
1. Why????
2. Should I cut 3 Soundposts for this fiddle???
3. Are the Bass Bars compensated???
