I prayed about having kids…

On the hearts of humankind lies an inscription of morality. An inscription that is not defined or, rather, confined by technicality or the letter of the law; it is simply guided by right and wrong. It’s why we get upset when someone cuts us off on the freeway or in line at the supermarket. Illegal? No. Unjust? Yes. Silly example. I know. But the point remains. We seek justice. We seek rightness. Whether we admit it or not. Whether we run from it or try to hide from it in the name of tolerability, open-mindedness, or by subscribing to the notion that truth is somehow… relative. The inscription remains… calling from the depths of our bones, and the longer we try to silence it... the more we feel it… the body-shaking disdain and disgust of evil and the soul-deep ache for justice.
