On The Clay Lady's Campus, we serve the creative community by providing studios for 65 resident artists, The CLC Gallery to sell their work, and engaging events for artists and art enthusiasts. We provide education for all skill levels in pottery, sculpture and glass. We provide high quality and real world tested supplies at Mid-South Ceramics Supply Co. There are 3 seats left in Screen Printing for Ceramics! This 9-week Focus Study class during our Fall Session focuses on three different screen-printing methods and how to apply them to clay. By the end of the course, you'll know how to screen print in a variety of ways, make underglaze transfers, print directly onto clay, and choose the best application method for your projects!

Because this is a focus study, this class is not for beginners and students must have the ability to create independently.

Screen Printing for Ceramics begins Thursday, September 24, from 1:00-4:00pm.

The 16th Annual Ugly Pot Throw Celebration is almost here!

Join us on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00-4:00 for this free and family-friendly event on The Clay Lady’s Campus! Come on out to:
- Enjoy hotdogs and ice cream from Devi’s Dogs
- Cheer on the competitors of The Ugly Pot Throwdown
- Create creatures in the Kid’s Monster Lab Tent
- Meet adoptable dogs from MACC
- Shop one-of-a-kind finds at The Pottery Market and CLC Gallery
- And of course the main event: throw an ugly pot against the wall as you yell, “I’m going to make the next one better!”

The Ugly Pot Throw Celebration is a free, community event inspired by the ugly pot: the fallen, broken, mis-glazed, wonky, pots who “give their life to teach you how to make the next pot better”! We must honor those ugly pots as teachers and guides on our journey. As we throw them against the wall we exclaim, “I’m going to make the next one better!”

Jessica has an art education degree and fell in love with clay in college. She’s been a potter for over 10 years and you’ll find her teaching here Thursday evenings!

We educate our educators! All instructors of our 9-week pottery, sculpture, and handbuilding classes are working artists and go through a year of training under Danielle~The Clay Lady before teaching at The Clay Lady’s Education Center.
