Meet Richard. We crossed paths with him at a recent event and heard about his transformative experience with Dismas House. A reentry program in Nashville for men returning to the community from state correctional facilities and county jails, Dismas House is one of the largest reentry programs of its kind in Tennessee. We learned about his powerful relationship with music and naturally invited him to come play on our stage. His exhibit at the County Music Hall of Fame and Museum “The Hard Way on Purpose” is now open through August 1st. Always determined to write and perform his own songs, we are excited to celebrate such a pioneering songwriter and dear friend of The Bluebird.
