Third Coast Comedy Club Third Coast Comedy Club, the home for Nashville comedy, is dedicated to all forms of comedy (improv, stand-up, and sketch) with shows nearly every night.
(601)

In February 2016, improvisers Luke Watson (Founder/Artistic Director of LOL Nashville) and Scott Field (Co-founder of Improv Nashville/Artistic Director of Music City Improv), concluded their year-long search for a permanent space to serve as the epicenter for local comedy. They partnered to open a comedy club that serves all comedic art forms: sketch, improv, stand-up, comedic plays, etc. The Third Coast Comedy Club took over the former Imogene and Willie production space at 1310 Clinton Street in Marathon Village, a breeding ground for creatives. The theater serves as an outlet for the wealth of comedic talent in Nashville. The bar serves as a place of community for locals and comics throughout the week. Alongside the nightly programming and weekend Main Stage shows, the club includes a training center, offering courses ranging from improvisation to sketch to stand-up for locals and tourists alike.

An anonymous Third Coast supporter has offered to match every donation to our Indiegogo for the next 24 hours.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

That means:
$25 → $50
$50 → $100
$100 → $200

We’re currently at 79% of our $100,000 goal, and we have just 9 days left to get there.

So if you’ve been thinking about donating, today is the day!

Let’s see how far we can get in 24 hours!

Best of Nashville 2026!

So great to see so many friends and community partners at the Nashville Scene event last night.

What a delight to see Third Coast featured as BEST IMPROV GROUP 🫶🏻🤩🚀

Thank you Amy Prough Stumpfl for the continued support and lovely words!

Congrats to Zanies Nashville Comedy Club and City Winery Nashville and thanks for sharing this category with us ☺️

There was so much food and we hopped around put put and saw many friends and supporters and we even got a little star stuck a few times. Just another reminder of the things that make Nashville, Nashville. 🤠

If you swipe to the last slide you’ll see Luke Watson get balsamic on his shirt!

Congrats to all the winners!!

For Mike, Third Coast is nourishment.

Mike has entertained and taught at Third Coast since 2017, and is one of the many faces we miss seeing every week.

If Mike has ever made you laugh or taught you something new in class, or if you’ve ever wanted to do the same, donate now or share this with your friends, family, and folks at home.

Donate now to our Indiegogo so we can see Mike, and all of you, again very soon.

We figured you were due an update from us.

Construction mishaps, red tape, delayed permits….. it’s no joke opening a business. And we’re not immune to the things you just can’t predict.

HUGE Thanks to the community for keeping the vibes going and helping to raise funds!
It’s things like the indie pop up shows and fun events you all have planned that remind us why we’re doing this- YOU.

As of right now we’re hoping to open our doors by December, but as always, we will keep you posted since you never know what may happen!

Friendly reminder to keep donating to and sharing the Indiegogo because, in case you haven’t heard, you have to make your goal in order to keep any of it! We appreciate everyone who has pledged and posted 💕

We miss you! And we hope to see you soon.

-Luke Watson & Scott Field

What a great weekend of community!

A spelling bee, a lookalike contest and jam, and the shortest race in the world, probably- all to be together and raise funds for the new space for Third Coast!

This transition time is tricky, and we miss everyone we’re used to seeing every week. This community is the most fun and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Special thanks to: Grandpa Bar Rat Dude! Gamma Ray
