East Studio made fine handmade pottery in East Nashville near Gallatin and Eastland. Russell Harris founded East Studio, and was joined by potters Helen Hooper-Hirst, Diana Naisby and Kelly Kessler in this working studio. While not a retail outlet, we sold our work at our semi-annual open studios, and at local fairs and events.

Today East Studio closes its doors. Please be sure to friend Helen Hooper-Hirst and Diana Naisby, and to like Kelly Kessler Pottery to see what wonderful new work we make. Russ Harris will be making his pots near Waynesville, NC and you may have to make a trip to the mountains to keep up with his latest endeavors.

Kelly here, checking in to say how gratifying it is to work again with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and Ms. Cheap with our open house. People are so enthusiastic about Second Harvest, and it feels great to send them home with a gift of one of our handmade penny jars.
