Meet the cast of The Curious Savage, a comedy play opening this Friday at The Keeton and running through October 25th.

Katie Delaune (Lily Belle Savage) is excited to make her debut at The Keeton Theater with this talented cast! Recent credits include Laura Warwick in The Unexpected Guest (Playhouse 615), Miss Williams in Go Back for Murder (HPAC), and Sissy in A Piece of My Heart (Pull-Tight Theater). She previously performed in community theater productions in her hometown of New Orleans, LA. Katie would like to thank her friends and family for their support, as well as the cast and crew for sharing their beautiful gifts. She would also like to thank her dog, Gumbo, who endured her endless rehearsals in their living room.

Lily Belle is a socialite and lives on the money of her ex-husbands. She definitely thinks she deserves some of the fortune her father gave to her step-mother. Come see if she succeeds. Order your tickets today at www.thekeeton.org or by calling the box office at (615) 231-1231.

There are some wonderful lines written by John Patrick in The Curious Savage that are worth quoting. We'll share some with you over the next couple weeks, but you really should come see the show and hear them all. Here are a few pictures from dress rehearsal last night. The Curious Savage opens at The Keeton on Friday and runs through October 25th.

Enjoy dinner and a darling play for a lovely night out. You can always BYOB too, if you'd like a glass of w**e with your meal. Order tickets today at www.thekeeton.org or by calling the box office at (615) 231-1231.

Meet the cast of The Curious Savage, opening this Friday at The Keeton and running through October 25. It's time to introduce the Savage family members.

Frederick Heiman Jr. (Samuel Savage) After retiring from a decorated twenty-seven-year career as a Police Detective, Rick decided to take everything he learned on the streets and bring it to the stage and screen. Lived experience is the best acting coach. Spending decades dealing with high-stakes situations, undercover operations, and intense interrogations taught him a lot about human nature, which helps him bring a real sense of grit, authenticity, and calm under pressure to the characters he plays. Lately, you might have spotted him working on sets around town, working in background spots on Scarpetta, 911 Nashville, and I Can Only Imagine 2, as well as playing the lead in a short film for the University of Kentucky Film School. He also participated in The Keeton’s recent Mt. Olivet Cemetery History Tour. When he’s not acting, he’s usually right here in the Nashville area focusing on learning to play guitar, or spending time with his family. He’s a collaborative storyteller at heart, and he is incredibly excited to share this performance with you tonight.

Samuel is the quietest of Ethel Savage's greedy stepchildren, but he's definitely got his opinions on what should be done with her millions. Come enjoy dinner and a fun show! Order tickets today at www.thekeeton.org or by calling the box office at (615) 231-1231.

Michael Welch (Director) is honored to direct his second production at The Keeton, following Arsenic & Old Lace in 2023. A Nashville native, he has performed throughout Middle Tennessee for more than 16 years. Favorite roles include Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic & Old Lace, Rick Steadman in The Nerd, Orville in Daddy’s Dyin’: Who’s Got the Will?, and Felix Unger in The Odd Couple. Thank you for supporting live theatre—I hope you enjoy the show. Special thanks to his son, William, who always knows just what to say to his old man, and to Madison for her incredible support of his passion.

Michael has been so helpful not just with directing the actors but also being hands-on with building the set. Come see all his hard work come together. Order your tickets today at www.thekeeton.org or by calling the box office at (615) 231-1231.
