There are still slots available for our upcoming Keeton Kids Summer Theatre Program! Our wonderful directors, Caylin Gray and Jessica Fonville, will be sharing their expertise and experience with these young aspiring actors. There will be theatre training, fun games and activities to boost creativity, and they will rehearse an original musical play with two performances on July 26th.

We are very excited to announce the cast of the musical Come From Away, our first show of the 2026-2027 season! This is going to be an incredible show! It runs August 14-30.

Season Pass Holders may start making reservations this Thursday. General ticket sales begin on June 25th.

Our amazing Keeton Community Wind Ensemble will be doing their third concert on Tuesday, June 30th. The repertoire will feature Patriotic Music and American Folk Tunes as we celebrate America's 250th year of Independence. Expect to hear "The Star Spangled Banner", "Salute to the Armed Forces", "America the Beautiful", "Stars and Stripes Forever" and so many more pieces to stir your heart. Concessions will be available for purchase, and you are welcome to BYOB.

Treat your dad or grandpa to a fun show about family, love, and full of great music for Father's Day! Abel Frake is a farmer and father in 1946 Iowa. He takes his family to the state fair in hopes of winning a blue ribbon for his prize hog Blue Boy. While there, his family has the time of their lives. It's a feel-good, family friendly show that'll have you smiling and tapping your toes!

There are still a handful of meal tickets for tomorrow's matinee. We're serving up some delicious chicken fried steak, sides, and cherry cobbler for dessert. There's tea and coffee available, and you're welcome to BYOB if you want some wine with your food. But you have to act quickly! Order right now through our website at www.thekeeton.org. Meal service starts at 12:45 and the show begins at 2:00.

We also have some show only tickets for tonight's 7:00 show, and we will have some for tomorrow's matinee as well. They can be ordered online or purchase at the door.

It's opening night for our newest musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein's State Fair! Come see this show and go home filled with happiness! It's sweet, corny and good fun! Meet the cast of Rodgers and Hammerstein's State Fair, which opens tomorrow night at The Keeton and runs through June 28th.

Wayne and Margy Frake are Iowa farm kids eager for the change going to the fair brings them, and they go with wide-eyed anticipation. Andrew and Laura are having so much fun in their roles, you'd believe they were siblings in real life.

Andrew Hutton (Wayne Frake) is excited for his debut at The Keeton! It is an honor to be performing as Wayne in State Fair. Recent credits include Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance at Franklin Light Opera, Anthony Understudy in Sweeney Todd at Hendersonville Performing Arts Company, and Rooster in Annie at Audience of One; You can see Andrew perform as Curly in Oklahoma at StageLocal in September! When not performing, Andrew is a Theatre Teacher at Gladeville Middle School. They would like to thank the cast and crew, his wife, and God. Enjoy the show!

Laura Walker (Margy Frake) is a Kentucky-born actress excited to make her Keeton Theater debut! Laura has most recently been seen in A Story of Things - a Devised Work (Ensemble), Tom Jones (Lady Bellaston), Silent Sky (Margaret Leavitt), as well as in dance shows as a part of Belmont Dance Company, including Mixed Bill XX: Reflections, Mixed Bill XXI: Body and Soul, and Moving Stories (Choreographer/Dancer). Laura is a recent graduate of Belmont University with a BFA in Theatre Performance and Minor in Dance.
