We are saddened to announce the passing of Doug Wright, husband of Martha Duckett Wright.

Regarding Doug's funeral:

Viewing will be Sunday (2-19) 3:00-5:00 pm, Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.

Funeral will be Monday (2-20), 10:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 580 Collierville Arlington Rd., Collierville, TN

TOM WOPAT - the celebrated actor and vocalist - will perform at Iridium Jazz Club (1650 Broadway at 51st Street in Manhattan) with a new show 'Tom Wopat Swings the Rat Pack' for four performances only tonight and tomorrow, July 11 and 12.

Yesterday, we completed the first day of Crossroads Children's Chorus Festival! The day was complete with practicing, dancing, individual chorus performances, and as always, lots of fun and laughter! We are excited to have groups from Alaska, California, Canada, and Tennessee with us this year!

Watching 2 time Tony award winner Sutton Foster on the Tony Awards, as Violet. Sutton performed at Crossroads Celebrity Concert in 2010. Watching and working with artists like Sutton is an education in itself.

So sorry to learn today that Lawrence Hamilton, who performed at Crossroads Celebrity Concert/Crossroads Children's Chorus Festival passed away last night. My feelings and emotions are close to the surface as I think about all that Lawrence has done for so many people. What a blessing it was to watch him interact with the children of Crossroads Children's Chorus and tell them that they could be anything they wanted to be! The twinkle in his eye as he leaned down to speak to each one, and show that them were the most important thing to him at that moment, and yet his command of the stage and the positive presence you felt when he walked in a room was a privilege to watch and be around. I have attached a video of Lawrence performing ''Wheels of a Dream'' from one of his many leading roles he played on Broadway. Lawrence, I love you and you will be missed. Thank-you for the wonderful service you provided to so many of us.
