GSC is so excited to welcome pro writer Bill DiLuigi to our Focus Artist/Writer Retreat this weekend!

With more than 600 recorded songs, Nashville songwriter Bill DiLuigi has built a career spanning artist cuts, chart success, film & TV placements, and international releases.

Bill’s songs have landed on the Billboard Top 20 Adult Contemporary, Billboard Top 100 Country, and Americana Top 100 charts, along with multiple #1 songs in Texas and Australia.

His artist cuts include Bonnie Tyler, Richie McDonald of Lonestar, and Blessid Union of Souls, while his music has been heard on Good Morning America, HGTV’s Home Town, Hart of Dixie, Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist, Dakota’s Summer and the Cowgirls N’ Angels series.

His songwriting has also earned some impressive recognition, including a Covenant Award, a song on Aaron Pritchett’s Juno Award-nominated album The Score, and Grand Prize honors from American Songwriter Magazine and the NSAI/CMT Song Contest.

Bill continues to write across country, CCM and sync, bringing a strong sense of melody, memorable titles and emotionally resonant storytelling to every room.

And after 600+ recorded songs, he’s clearly not running out of ideas anytime soon.

We can’t wait to see the magic Bill and our writers create this weekend!

We are so excited to welcome back pro writer Keesy Timmer to our Focus Artist/Writer Retreat this weekend! 🎸✨

With over 20 years of writing in Nashville, Keesy Timmer is a country music songwriter originally from Washington State, with cuts that include “Yeah Boy,” co-written with and recorded by Kelsea Ballerini, along with notable cuts from Chris Janson, Trace Adkins, Zac John King, Hayden Coffman, Kaleb Saunders, Sam Grow, and many others.

Keesy is an energetic performer with a heart for storytelling. His brand of country music comes from all styles and is designed to hit the listeners right where it counts. His energy is contagious; his laugh has been known to cross time zones, but his understanding of love and heartbreak is what connects him to the songs he writes.

Recent songwriting wins include:
🎉 Chris Janson's "Cheap" - 5 million streams
🎉 Kaleb Saunders' "Tell That To A Heart" - 1 million streams
🎉 Hayden Coffman's "Love & Heartbreak" - 1 million streams
🎉 Zach John King's "Smoke Zone My Jacket" - 5 million streams

We can't wait to see what Keesy and our writers create together this weekend!

Big news for the October Focus Songwriting Retreat! 🎶🔥

We are beyond excited to welcome multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and producer Kurtis John as one of our featured pro writers.

You likely know his work from his time as the lead singer and songwriter of The Last Goodnight, whose global hits "Pictures of You" and "Stay Beautiful" dominated charts across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia (with "Pictures of You" claiming the #1 most-played spot in Australia in 2007 and soundtracking major films and campaigns!).

Now based in Nashville, Kurtis has written for artists like Augustana and Jason Blaine, and is currently producing new music for The Last Goodnight and Silence X Noise. Our select participants are going to learn so much from his decades of artistry and industry experience.
