In early 2020 before the world shutdown I got to hang with Bill Ham and hear him talk about his time creating light shows in the 60’s. He had a dvd of his light show playing on repeat in is living room and he lovingly snuck a copy to me. This was during my time with Mad Alchemy. He took me and Lance to his favorite Japanese restaurant in San Francisco and I was relieved to find out that he still drank beers and wanted to drink one with me. Thank you Bill for paving a liquid pathway of love and light and into the light may you return.

I’m still beaming from InLight this past weekend at Pine Camp put on by ! What an extraordinary event and gathering of people of all ages for the sake of light based art. It was awesome having my family there to support and exciting to reconnect with some old friends. Thank you to and Hanson for helping me realize the vision for my piece “Cellular Illumination”, and thank you to the 1708 staff for your hard work in making InLight a success. Keep on shining the light✨
